Overview#

Grigoripedia is the official online encyclopedia of Satano-Grigorism, maintained by members of the Grigorist Temple of Satanael. It documents the religion’s theology, cosmology, deities, scriptures, history, holidays, and terminology.[1] Satano-Grigorism is a polytheistic form of theistic Satanism whose adherents worship Satanael and the 200 Watchers, also called the Grigori.[2]

The Temple presents Grigoripedia as a reference resource for both its members and interested non-members. Its coverage includes subjects specific to Satano-Grigorism and other traditions or ideas relevant to the religion’s study.[3]

Origins and development#

Grigoripedia’s About page dates its launch to June 2026 and describes it as a continuing Temple project to assemble information about Satano-Grigorism in wiki form.[4]

According to the Temple’s institutional history, Grigoripedia was originally hosted at satanael.org/wiki/. In August 2026, the Temple decided to acquire the domain grigoripedia.com and move the encyclopedia there. Its account explains that the separate domain made article addresses easier to share and reflected the encyclopedia’s distinct role alongside the main Temple website.[5]

Content and Temple publications#

Grigoripedia provides encyclopedia entries about religious concepts and figures alongside material on the Temple’s scriptures and reference works. Its main page offers routes into article categories, the article directory, frequently asked questions, and featured entries.[1]

The encyclopedia forms part of a wider collection of Temple resources. These include the Satano-Grigorist Pocket Guide, which codifies beliefs and practices; The Book of the Watchers and the Acts of Enoch, which the Temple regards as revealed scripture; The Lion and the Lamb, attributed by the Temple to the Watcher Samyaza; and Satano-Grigorist Angelology, a reference work on the religion’s classification of angels.[3]

The Temple distinguishes its own Book of the Watchers and the Acts of Enoch from the ancient Book of Enoch. It also advises readers to compare older reference material with Grigoripedia, since some information in its angelology document has become outdated. In this arrangement, the encyclopedia supplies a revisable reference alongside longer publications.[3]

Religious and editorial perspective#

Grigoripedia’s general disclaimer identifies its default perspective as Satano-Grigorist. Statements about deities, revelation, spiritual events, and religious history are normally intended to express the religion’s understanding, even when individual sentences do not repeat an attribution. This convention also applies to its treatment of other traditions unless another perspective is specified.[6]

The disclaimer distinguishes the Temple’s account of its religion from agreement among other religious communities or scholars. It describes sections devoted to external traditions as aiming for verifiable sources and a neutral tone. Grigoripedia therefore serves as a primary institutional source for Satano-Grigorist beliefs and practices; its theological claims remain expressions of that particular tradition.[6]

Editing and continuing development#

Grigoripedia is edited by Satano-Grigorist volunteers. Its disclaimer notes that most editors are not Temple Elders and acknowledges that errors can occur. Articles are revised to expand their coverage, correct mistakes, and reflect developments in the Temple’s understanding.[6] Readers can raise questions or corrections on article talk pages or through the Temple’s dedicated Grigoripedia contact address.[6][7]

As of October 2026, the main page described the encyclopedia as still under construction, with many articles incomplete.[1]
